FWC has today published its Interim Online Proceedings framework providing for substantive proceedings involving contested facts, to be generally conducted in person. Other cases which might warrant an in person attendance include where parties agree, or a participant might be unable to effectively participate (including because of unreliable access to technology) which would cause significant delays or inconvenience to the proceeding if held online. Short matters like Mentions and Conferences, or where a party is based interstate from the Member, are more likely to be conducted online.
